I LIED
it's a hundred yard warp. If the counter reaches 300, it's a 50 yd warp. So I wound on 600, for a hundred yard warp, and that will keep me busy for some time! I'm starting off with a ten inch warp to use up some of that Lion Brand Homespun, that is so soft and silky, and behaves so badly on the ends. I'll weave a header and an ender to be turned under and maybe add fringe, depending. Anyway, that'll be scarves. When I've finished with scarves, I'll warp the rest of the width and make baby blankies. Or not. We'll see.

LOOMING IN MY FUTURE is this 300 yd warp, that I am now beaming onto my sectional beam with the aid of my tension box, and the handy extension, and the handier COUNTER! Of course, I was ...flabbergasted, when it seemed that the counter was moving lots faster than I was beaming, so I hadda figger out how much each unit was... SIX INCHES!!! Boyoboy! The amount of math I'm having to do in order to weave! Anyway, I'm excited and have lotsa plans, and yes this is my HARRISVILLE 8 HARNESS, 36 inch loom. BUT, I don't plan to use all eight just yet. Got lotsa plans, just lots! Scarves, baby blankies, shawls, got lots of yarn to use up! Lots.
